Thanks for taking the time to read and comment… I miss my family everyday despite being in the same foreign land — having lived separately from them for so long makes me homesick at times (I miss the fun with siblings and being someone’s kid)… & now, it’s time for them to retire home (Phils), I know it’s going to be hard for me because we’ve chosen to be expatriates in Saudi Arabia to be near each other… that’s also the same reason why I was thinking of going back to the province because I know that my life will be completely different without them near.

Oh sorry to hear that you are homesick. It is understandable though. And I agree it is fun to be the child at times, take it easy, and get looked after. I hope you make the right decision and figure out where you will be the happiest.
