The Harry Potter Tag

1Since I am planning to re-read Harry Potter to see some possible loopholes I’ve missed from my first reads, I have been wallowing on HP questionnaires and challenges these days.

I found this questionnaire from Jenny of Jenny in Neverland and I feel like answering them on the blog this time instead of commenting my answers on their threads that can be bloglike in length (that’s embarrassing). She’s got cool questions and perhaps you can also answer this right after! Here are her questions.

1. What house are you in?

Yay! I am a proud Hufflepuff. This is one of the four Houses of 1hufflepuffonlinestore_grandeHogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was founded by Helga Hufflepuff. This house is the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members. The emblematic animal is a badger, and yellow and black are its colours. The Head of Hufflepuff is Pomona Sprout and the Fat Friar is the House’s patron ghost.

2. What is your Patronus?

3. What is your wand?

4. What would your Boggart be?

5. What position would you play in Quidditch?

6. Would you be a pure-blood, half-blood or muggle born?

7. What job would you want to have after leaving Hogwarts?

8. Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?

If I have to really choose, I will choose the WAND because it can do almost anything. Don’t worry, WITH ME, it’s in good hands.

9. Favourite book?

My favorite book is OoTP. It’s the book from which I initially felt the action and when I first read it, I felt as if I was actually part of the Wizarding World. I don’t understand why lots of fans do not like this as much as the others, hehehe…

10. Least favourite book?

I am so in love with all of the books but perhaps it’s the Goblet of Fire that I did not like as much as the others? First, because I really hated how Cedric died and how Dumbledore seemed to be so angry @ Harry, like he’s got anything to do with his name being in the Goblet & everyone giving him a hard time about it like, don’t you know Harry by this time? I know Dumbledore got his reasons, but still, it was frustrating for Harry.

To be fair, this answer is so hard for me to write because I am also fond of that book.

11. Favourite film?

The Prisoner of Azkaban. Honestly, I liked all films (except for #12) but I am depending on statistics (hahaha) based on how frequently I seem to watch this installment.

12. Least favourite film?

The Deathly Hallows, Part 1. It was very slow and boring. I absolutely did not like this film.

13. Favourite character?

I love a lot of characters but for now, all I can think of is Luna. She is intelligent, but very subtle.

14. Least favourite/most hated character?

15. Favourite teacher at Hogwarts?

I love Minerva Mc Gonagall. Her cutest scene was when she got so giddy after being able to charm the Hogwarts statues using the incantation, “Piertotum Locomotor.”

16. Least favourite teacher at Hogwarts?

I wanna say Umbridge again but I am excluding her from this category because she is already in the Hall of Fame Shame.

So this should be you:

17. Do you have any unpopular opinions about the series?

I think my liking OoTP best is already an unpopular opinion basing from the answers I’ve read so far. I mean, why? LOL. Why don’t you like it as much as I did?

Please do check out another Harry Potter Challenge from A Geeky Gal. Hers is really cool, I plan to start the daily challenge next week.

    1. It was indeed!! But I am gonna give credit to the google peeps, they made that meme, nevertheless, it was totally wacky!! Right?!! Thanks again!

  1. Great post! Although I am a great fantasy fan, I have never really taken to Harry Potter. Even more so with the movies. Our kids though, think Harry is great, however, they were not too impressed with how it all ended. Maybe I need to revisit HP myself!
