You’re Getting Old

That’s the name of the website that my friend shared with me and like she told me, it will either amaze you or depress you hehehe… I was not amazed (lol) so does it leave me with depressed? Not really. I was more of, shocked with a slight sadness as to how time had gone by.

The results will show a personal timeline based on your date of birth. It will be from population, history and world affairs. On my timeline, I especially looked at the 9/11 and it indicated that I was 19 years old back then which makes me, yes, 38 years old as of writing. Back then, it seemed that I have lived long enough. I was nineteen, full of life, living the life, & having the time of my life! Moving forward to “right now,” it’s exactly 19 years after but it feels like it was only yesterday! I still watch the movie World Trade Center every so often. I mean, my life did not seem as full like the first 19 years of my life. Where have all those years gone? How fast did it fly? It’s as if I was holding that Click remote control only without Christopher Walken hovering around me.

I had a quick inventory of my life from year 2000 to present and I can’t believe I forgot some of my life’s highlights.

I have no regrets in my life but I really wish to turn back time so I can remember. I hope God can make me dream about it tonight (haha) what a specific request right?

Anyhow, if you feel curious about your timeline, pls CLICK ME.

For now, I leave you with a passage from the book of Proverbs chapter 3 verse 34, “Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.”
